4. Trump v Leo - The Pope’s call to end war made the US President pretty cranky this week - Trump says the leader of the Catholic Church is “terrible for Foreign Policy”… Trump also shared an AI image of himself as a Jesus-like figure, which he removed after criticism from Christians - he says the image depicted him as a doctor.

Reading/Listening - You might’ve heard that investigative reporters Andrew Marantz and Ronan Farrow have done a big 16,000-word piece on OpenAI chief Sam Altman. If that feels slightly intimidating, here’s a great podcast where New Yorker editor David Remnick interviews the reporters.
Reading - If you’re a fan of Nora Ephron’s films (Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, the list goes on…) and you haven’t delved into her books, we recently read Heartburn and it’s not an exaggeration to say it’s laugh out loud funny, even if it’s about a marriage breakdown…
Watching - The Other Bennet Sister is just a delight. A riff on the Jane Austen classic Pride and Prejudice, it explores the life of Mary Bennet - the sister who wasn’t marriage material. Until - in classic Austen style - she gets her yearning on… You can catch that on Binge.
Spreadsheet? Never heard of her...

In the Kitchen
You might not expect a fantastic bolognese recipe to come from a metalhead comedian, but Nat’s What I Reckon’s End of Days Bolognese recipe is a cracker. We’d be lying if we said it was quick, but it’s rich and comforting, and he has some genuinely helpful, albeit surprising, tips like adding milk… Trust us, it’s good)
