Squiz Recommends

Listening - To the Ologies podcast episode on Urban Rodentology (or sewer rats) with Bobby Corrigan. Host Alie Ward is enthused by every expert she interviews, but this one - about rats of all things - is surprisingly delightful.

Buying - A new season means new shoes, and Squiz favourite Jo Mercer has a buy one/get the second pair 70% off sale (and no, they aren’t a sponsor, we just like their shoes)…

Styling - A new season means trying to work out what the heck you're meant to be doing with your socks… Long? Ankle? Tube? With cropped jeans? One stressed-out Team Squiz member did the research, and these Glamour mag tips on styling socks have provided some direction.

In the Kitchen

If you keep spending $12 on an afternoon smoothie at your local smoothie shop (ahem…), maybe it’s time to try making one at home. This cinnamon and date smoothie is one we’ve taken a shine to, and it will satisfy that mid-afternoon sweet treat craving.

It’s like a cinnamon bun in smoothie form…

Read that here or listen up.

What are data centres? - Data centres have been in the news a lot lately because of AI’s rise and rise. So in this Squiz Shortcut, we’ll take a look at what they are, what they’re used for and why some experts have concerns about them. Read here or listen here.
