Then on Friday morning, police were called when 2 men opened fire in a Gregory Hills car park. No injuries were reported on that one, but reports say it’s gang-related.
4. Hong Kong’s deadliest fire in 75 years - The death toll in the blaze that burned through several high-rise buildings in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district last week has risen to 159, as search and rescue efforts continue for the 31 still missing.
5. F1 comes down to the wire - It’s exciting times as the season comes to a head in Abu Dhabi this Sunday/Monday morning. Last weekend saw Dutchman Max Verstappen take out first place in Qatar, with Aussie Oscar Piastri coming in second. It’s going to be a tight finish…

Wednesday - The Albanese Government’s social media ban for under-16s comes into effect. It’s Human Rights Day. And Kiwi chef Ben Shewry will address the National Press Club in Canberra on leading a creative life.
Thursday - Westpac and Myer have their AGMs. And we’ll get the latest figures on employment from the ABS.
Friday - It’s the last day of school in the Northern Territory, Queensland and South Oz. Olympic gold medallists Kaylee McKeown, Cam McEvoy and Mollie O’Callaghan will compete in the Australia v The World swimming meet - it’s a made-for-TV spectacle that will be on 9Now.
